Hello all!
This is my very first post and I am both excited and terrified, I have been wanting to consistently blog for years now and now that everything is set all I have to do is write!
Anyway, if you know NOTHING about me or what I'm all about then please read the about me!
Okay! So for the first post I wanted it to be something super exciting to me and it just happens to be Miss Universe 2013 week and geez does that make me EXCITED!
So I have a small past as a pageant girl and well honestly it was a lot of fun but definitely not for me, with that being said, just cause I don't want to be in pageants, does NOT mean that I don't admire the beauty and/or won't watch them.
If anything watching them is my favorite part, I think someday I'd like to be a judge for Miss Universe, that would be AWESOME!
Last Tuesday, November 5, 2013, 86 contestants from ALL over the world graced the stage at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia! DO NOT PANIC, you did not miss the REAL show!
The actual crowning will be on November 9th @ 9PM EST on NBC and Telemundo!
Now these girls showed a great walk, a great body and enthusiasm!

And now we move on to MY favorite part of the whole evening, of every pageant, THE GOWN!
I was really disappointed because I really didn't see ONE dress that killed me and brought me back to life like last year but these were my favorite of the prelim!
ANGOLA
I was so shocked to see this HOT pink, it made me so happy!
BRAZIL
This girl is so pretty and her dress is simple but so so stunning and I love the salmon color!
CANADA
I love these type of dresses, that sort of merge with the girl. This color looked stunning on Riza.
ECUADOR
Although its not my favorite dress, I do love this girl and I do LOVE the dress just not the color, it seemed to clash with her tan skin but other than that I love mint!
EL SALVADOR
I don't know how other people feel about this dress but I freaking ADORE it, I want it in my closet right now, in that color, it's just perfect. It has so much attitude and it's super fierce!
GREAT BRITAIN
I'm in an inner conflict with myself with this dress, I LOVE this girl, she is definitely in my Top but the fabric of this dress just looked cheap, other than that I actually love the color and design.
INDIA
This dress has a gorgeous color but other than that it looks really comfy to me! It looks like Manasi is wearing pink cotton candy or clouds. She wore this dress very well!
INDONESIA
Okay, this is seriously my favorite dress of the night! I love the design, I love the elegance it carries, it shapes Whulandary so well! Hands down my favorite!
ISRAEL
While this dress is extremely simple, this girl is just SO gorgeous, she is another fan favorite and how could she not be? Titi is TALL, lean, and has a beautiful face. So naturally she rocked it.
PANAMA
Carolina is another fan favorite and personal favorite of mine as well. THIS was the gown of the night. THIS is a MISS UNIVERSE gown, seeing this gown gave me a little bit of hope but sadly, this was as good as it got.
PUERTO RICO
When Monic came out in this I was SO happy, what a great color and SHAPE. This isn't just a gown, it's a work of art, and while I've seen this girl in so many other amazing gowns, this gown definitely stands out and that's what is important.
SWITZERLAND
I honestly love this dress and it was one of the few black in the group. This is another dress that gives me hope. I guess the contestants decided to be plain and simple this year and while simple can STUN, most did not.
VENEZUELA
While Maria Gabriela is the most overrated contestant in this pageant, her dress was extravagant, simply STUNNING, however, she did NOT rock it. She looked extremely uncomfortable and could barely walk in it. Her pageant director even said that he is thinking of changing it because she "did not shine in the dress'. Ouch.
VIETNAM
Last but not least, Truong, wore this HOT pink gown, just like Bahamas and well while it may not be the most stunning, I think its the most fun!
